Improvements

Improved Prospect List Workflow

We've updated the prospect list workflow to improve searches and prospect list navigation.

Global Search

Searches now use both the first and last name to find a Prospect.

Prospect Navigation

We have updated the Single Prospect menu item on the Navigation bar. Now, when you select a prospect from Prospect List, you see the prospect's name on the left under Prospect List. If you navigate away from that prospect, the prospect's name continues to display under Prospect List.

New Lookup in Single Prospect View

We added a Prospects tab to the Single Prospect page, which allows you to access the lookup without leaving the page.

Added Display of Dashboard Charts Upon Login

You can now display three statistical charts from the Dashboard when you log in to AdmissionsPlus. The first time you open the Prospect List after logging in, you can select from several Dashboard tiles to customize the data you see at login.

To view the same charts on the Prospect List after your initial login, click the Admissions Plus icon in the lower-left corner.

Added Email Codes

To allow for more robust email personalization, we’ve added several email codes for gender pronouns, missing requirements, and calendar event attendance reporting.

Pronoun Codes

You can select from several pronoun combination codes (such as he/she/they, him/her/them, and his/her/their) in both upper and lower case. The value entered for Gender determines the pronoun inserted in the email. For example, if Gender is Male, he/him/or his is inserted; if Gender is Female, she/her/or her is inserted; and if Gender is neither Male nor Female, they/them/or their is inserted.

Missing Requirements Codes

Using the missing requirements codes, you can insert a list of missing requirements for a prospect. We've created codes that insert all missing requirements by step, all missing requirements in the prospect's current step, or all missing requirements for a specific step.

Attending/Not Attending Code

Use the Attending/Not Attending code with emails sent from a calendar event to determine who is attending the event. The recipient's decision to attend or not attend is reported to the prospect record attached to the event.

Improved Lottery Page

We've added the ability to hide prospects' names, improved column editing, and made several upgrades to improve performance.

Display Prospect Name Feature

If your school publicly generates lottery numbers, you can click Display Prospect Name to hide or display prospects' names. Names are hidden when the option is off.

Column Editing

You can easily add or remove columns by clicking Edit View and then clicking the arrows between the Available Fields list and the Selected Fields list. Columns in the Available Fields list are hidden.

Mouse Behavior

When you move your mouse over an editable field, the cursor changes to indicate the field can be edited when clicked.

Refresh Rate

The Lottery page loads faster and refreshes properly when data is updated.

Updated Import Wizard

The updates we've made to the Import Wizard make it easier for you to import prospect data.

Navigation Menu

We renamed the Receive menu option to Import Wizard to better reflect the option's function.

Mapping Interface

The mapping interface has been reorganized so that incoming data from the import file appear on the left and fields being mapped to appear on the right.

Import Multiple Contacts At Once Feature

We added +Add Contact to the Import Fields interface so that you can map additional sets of contact fields and import multiple contacts at once.

Prospect Import Improvements

We've updated the Import Wizard logic to improve the prospect import process.

Prospects are imported as a new prospect if either of the following is true:

  • The prospect ID/prospect database field in the import field is blank.
  • The prospect ID/prospect database field in the import field is not blank and is not found in a record.

If the prospect ID/prospect database field in the import field is not blank and is found in a record, and the Program, Year and Grade are the same, the prospect is updated.

If the prospect ID/prospect database field in the import field is not blank and is found in a record, and either the Program, Year, or Grade is not the same, a new program is added to the prospect.

Redesigned Login Page

The Login page has been redesigned to provide more information to the user, including links to the latest release notes and the AdmissionsPlus User Guide.

Implemented System Prospect ID

For each prospect, we’ve added an ID field that allows the Admissions team to track which school the prospect originally applied to. The prospect ID consists of the number for the first school the prospect was added to and a generated recorded number.

The prospect ID can be used as a unique Identifier when importing or when working with lottery results.

The prospect ID is only used in AdmissionsPlus.

Improved Batch Entry/Batch Add Functionality

We made improvements to the Batch Options page.

"No Decision" Batch Entry

You can now batch enter “No Decision” to a list of prospects, which allows you to easily clear the decision from the list.

Household Code Batch Addition

On the Household tab, when you click Assign Contacts to Households, the database is searched for contacts without a Household code. If a contact matches a prospect's address, the Household code for that prospect is added to the contact.

You can click View Log to see a list of the contacts that were assigned the Household code.

Reorganized Contact Suffixes

On the Contacts tab of the Prospect List page, you can reorder contact suffixes.

Click the Gear icon and select Suffix. In the Add/Edit Suffixes dialog box, click a suffix and then click the arrows to reorder it.

Added Change Form Status

In the Holding Bin, you can click Change Form Status to change the status of forms, including forms that have been submitted.

Updated Link Grade Levels Interface

The Link Grade Levels to Requirements headers no longer scroll with the data, making it easier for you to see which specifications you are setting.

Improved Online Form PDF Display

Form PDFs no longer display the formatting applied to an online form, allowing you to see any text formatting or tables.

Added Drag/Drop Feature to Program Grade Levels

You can drag and drop grade levels to change the order in which they appear in a program.

Improved Send to SIS Mapping

We updated the Mapping interface in Send to SIS to allow you to begin typing the name of the field you want to map in order to filter the list of available fields to match your entry.

Improved Ability to Edit Events

In the Event Preview dialog box, you can click Edit Event to open the Edit Event dialog box.
