The Attendance Reports on the School Dashboard allow users to generate three different daily attendance reports.
Day's Attendance
This report will generate a report with a list of students based on attendance search criteria for a selected date. Do the following to run the report:
- Select Generate.
- The Attendance Settings page opens.
Day's Attendance Settings AReport Type: Choose to generate the report for Students or Staff. BDate for Attendance: Select to run the report for Today or select a previous day on the calendar CSearch Criteria: - Search For either Register Code or Attendance Code
- Search Limit: Choose options such as Is Equal To, Is Not Equal to, Is Greater Than or Equal To, Is Blank, Etc
- Type: Choose to search on Excused, Unexcused, Undefined
Any combination of the three can be selected.
DAttendance Comments: Check off Include Attendance Comments to include the comments entered in Note 1 and Note 2. EDemographic Fields: Choose to include up to 3 Demographic Fields. Check off Field 1 and choose Demographic field from the dropdown. Users can also select to print the Field Name or Description. FPage Orientation: Select to print the layout in Landscape or Portrait. - Select Save & Next.
- The Select Students window opens. Users can select students by one of the following:
- Grade Levels:
- DB Fields: Select which grade level(s) to include. You can select up to five (5) demographic fields:
- Views:
- Individual Students: Select Default Student or another existing view. When searching for a student, you can search on Contains or Begins with, or select the down arrow in the dropdown to scroll through the list of students:
- Grade Levels:
- Select Save & Next.
- Choose how to sort the students:
- Select Save & Generate.
The Day's Attendance report will generate. If it is a multi-page report, you can choose to scroll through all pages. Select + or - to zoom in or out of the report. Select to toggle full page width of the report. Click to toggle the print preview. Select to print, or to download to PDF or Excel.
Search List
This report will generate a list of students based on an attendance search for a date range. Do the following to run the report:
- Select Generate for Search List:
- The Search List settings page opens:
Search List Settings AReport Type: Generate the report for Students or Staff BDate Range for Attendance: Enter a Start and End date for the date rage CSearch Criteria: - Search For either Register Code or Attendance Code
- Search Limit: Choose options such as Is Equal To, Is Not Equal to, Is Greater Than or Equal To, Is Blank, Etc
- Attendance Code Order: Select to print Numerically or Alphabetically
DPage Orientation: Select to print the layout in Landscape or Portrait. - Select Save & Next.
- The Select Students window opens. Users can select students by one of the following:
- Grade Levels:
- View
- Views:
- Individual Students: Select Default Student or another existing view. When searching for a student, you can search on Contains or Begins with, or select the down arrow in the dropdown to scroll through the list of students:
- Grade Levels:
- Select Save & Next.
- Choose how to sort the students:
- Select Save & Generate.

Selected Students Attendance Counts and Details
This report will generate a list of selected students with all attendance codes applied to the student for the selected date range.
Do the following to run the report:
- Select Generate for Selected Students Attendance Counts and Details.
- The Attendance Details Settings page opens:
