Add Students widget: The grade levels in your school will be displayed, along with the total number of students in each grade level. Select the gear icon to open the Add Student settings, where you can Select demographic fields for the Enter Demographics section. You may select up to 20 demographic fields. You may also select the following default settings:
  • Entry Code
  • Entry Date
  • Primary Language
Select Add  to add a new student to that grade level. The Add Student window opens.

Add a New Student

When the Add Student window opens, the first screen opens to enter in the basic information for the student. 

  1. The following information is mandatory: First Name, Last Name, Calendar, Language for Reports, Entry Date, Entry Code, and Birth Date


    If a Returning/Duplicate Student is found, the following will display. Be sure to compare the data of the student for potential matches. If this is truly a new student, select Add as New Student. If this is a returning student, select the matching student and click Next.

  2. Click Next. The Assign Household ID window opens.
  3. Select Assign New HH to assign a new Houshold ID to the new student if they do not have any siblings in the school.
  4. If they have a sibling in the school, or live with another student, select the student from the list > confirm the contacts associated > choose the relationship of the contacts and select Assign Selected HH.

    By default, households with the same last name as the student are listed. If the last name differs, try using alternative search options like Student Street or Household Phone. Assigning a selected household will link the household contacts to the student. You can update the Relationship and Primary Contact details if necessary. If no match is found, select Assign New Household.

  5. Once Household ID is assigned, click Next.

  6. Enter Student demographic data:
    The fields listed here will be dependent on want was previously selected in the Add Student Settings screen. If Address fields are selected, the address will be prepopulated with the address associated with the selected household.

  7. Click Save. The new student will be added, and you will be brough back to the Enrollment Center screen.
