Approval Center: Grades

The Approval Center is used to view and manage incoming data.  Each source has a widget that displays the number of records in each status, click on the number to go to the corresponding tab.  

Grades

Displays the number of submitted Gradebooks under Ready, the number of Approved Gradebooks, as well as those who have not submitted their Gradebook under Not Ready. Click on the expand iconto open the holding bin. The Grades Holding Bin can also be accessed by selecting either Ready, Approved, or Not Ready.

The diagram and table below describe the tasks you can perform from the Approval Center when receiving Grades from TeacherPlus Gradebook. Each tab (Ready, Not Ready, and Approved) has a similar layout. The left side lists the Courses ready to be received, and the right side displays the list of students in the course as well as the submitted grade.

Approval Center: Grades
A	Select the Gear Icon to choose your settings: Recieve Which Grades? Select to recieve Course Grades and/or Skill Grades. Receive Narratives? Select if you would like to receive narratives and where they will be placed: Marking Period Narratives Also Copy into Course Narratives - Can only be selected if Marking Peirod Narratives is also selected. Receive from Which Marking Period? Select the marking period in which you would like to receive grades from. Also Receive From? Select any additional columns. Lock Score Column in: Check this box to lock the selected marking period after recieving. Receive Grades for Students in Which Grade Levels? Select which grades are received. Display Sections Meeting When? Select when the sections meet. Selected settings are displayed: Recieve Grades from: Displays whichs columns grades will be received from Recieve Grades for Students in Grade Levels: Displays whichs grade levels grades will be received for Which Kind of Grades are you receiving: Course Grades, Skills, Narratives. (greyed out - selected in the previous settings.) Check mark will display if selected.
B	- Downloads an Excel file with the previously received grades - Send the selected holding bin data to Excel. -Lock all selected Gradebooks - Unlock all selected Gradebooks - Available to select in the Ready or Approved Holding Bin. Selected Gradebooks will be marked as Not Ready. - Option available when any Gradebook is selected. Will be greyed out if no checkboxes are selected for any gradebooks. Selected Gradebooks grades will be received.
C	Ready Tab: Displays the Gradebooks ready to be received. Not Ready Tab: Displays the Gradebooks that have not been submitted. Approved Tab: Displays the Gradebooks that have been recieved.
D	The right side of the holding bin displays the following details for the highlighted Gradebook and Section. Section Course Name Teacher Print Icon - Select this to generate a PDF of the list of students and grades for the selected Gradebook. - This option is available to select to approve the highlighted Gradebook. If any Gradebooks are checked off, this option will be greyed out.
E	Viewing Course Grades from TeacherPlus Gradebook: The highlighted Gradebook from the left side of the holding bin displays here with the following information: APID Student Name Grade for the selected column(s) Select to view any Skills or Narrative for any student.
