When you make edits to your website you will need to publish the site or page in order to make those edits visible.
To Publish Changes or Edits:
- Make your edit(s) to content, like a widget. The change is technically auto saved in the editor but not live.
- Choose preview in the upper right to review your content edits.
- You should also change the device view on the left and view your content in Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile.
- Click on the blue Republish button in the upper right corner.
By default the Publish button in the top right corner will Republish the whole site. This mean all edits on all pages.
You can also update the content of a single page that is already published without republishing the whole site and without updating the content of other pages.
To publish a single page:
- In the side panel of the editor, click Pages.
- In the Pages Panel, click the page settings (gear) icon next to page you want to publish.
- Click Publish page.
This option is only available after your site is published and the page has been previously published (not a new page). A calendar icon displays on the page to indicate it has been published separately from the entire site.
Theme changes (for example, changes to header, footer, or site theme) will not be applied when a single page is published.
Each language on a multi-language site will need to be updated separately.
An automatic backup is created each time a single page is published.
To apply page URL changes, you must publish the entire site.
