Approval Center: Period Attendance

Approval Center is used to view and manage incoming data.  Each type has a widget that displays the number of records in each status, click on the number to go to the corresponding tab.

Period Attendance

Displays the number of sections that have been Submitted, Approved, and Not Submitted (Exception List) for the Date and Rotation Day Number. If your Administrator's Plus Supervisor has selected to Edit Attendance in AdminPlus.com and you have edit rights to Attendance you can click the expand icon  to change your Period Attendance settings, review the sections by status and approve the submitted period attendance.

Read Only users or schools who are View Only on AdminPlus.com can access the Approval Center to view what has been submitted. Although you can view, approving attendance and making changes to settings have been disabled.

The diagram and table below describe the tasks you can perform from the Approval Center for Period Attendance.  Each tab has a similar layout. The left side lists the sections and the right side shows the information for the selected section.

A

Date will default to today's date. The calendar icon can be used to change the date.

Rotation Day number displays. Click the icon to view there periods meeting for the rotation day.

The Period Attendance settings displayed here can be edited by clicking either gear icon .

Click the print icon to print the table or save as a PDF.

Click the export icon to export the table below to Excel.

Click Approve to receive the selected section's attendance into AdminPlus.com and Administrator's Plus.

Select tab to view sections by status

  • Submitted teacher has submitted attendance for the section but it hasn't been approved yet.
  • Not Submitted teacher has not submitted attendance for these sections.
  • Approved attendance has been approved and received in AdminPlus.com and Administrator's Plus

Check the top check box  to select all sections or check the box next to each section to select individual sections.

Click the icon to view submitted date and time for the section.

Click the filter icon to filter the column. A check box above the filter indicates a filter has been applied.

Sort column alphabetically in ascending or descending order by clicking the column header.  An arrow up or down next to the column header indicates that the column is sorted.

The right side of the screen displays the attendance detail for the selected section on the left.

M

If no boxes are checked on the left the print icon will be enabled to print the detail below.

N
If no boxes are checked on the left the Approve button will be enabled to receive the detail displayed. 

The Marking Period in the Displaying Sections Meeting in Current Quarter box is determined by the dates set by the user in classic Administrator's Plus > Setup > Attendance > Quarter Ending Date (For GQ & Per Att)
