Change the Weight a Standard Carries on a Form

A standard's weight is determined by the total of its descriptors' values. The standard with the highest total carries the most weight on the form. You can adjust the weights by following these steps:

Important: When you change the weight of a standard, the values you set for its descriptors change. For more information, see Add Responses to a Form.

1. On the navigation bar, click Forms. The Forms tab opens.
   
   
2. Search for the form you want to change.
   
3. In the Options drop-down list, click Scale standards.
4. Do one of the following:

• Click Even weights to make the weight of all standards equal.
• Set your own weights by doing any of the following:
  • Move the slider to change the weight.
  • Type the weight.
  • Click the arrows to change the weight by 0.5 increments.

5. Click Apply rubric.
