View Scores and Grades from Gradebook
You can view assignment scores from the TeacherPlus Gradebook. If enabled by your PlusPortals administrator, you can also view and print exam grades and semester or final averages.
Follow these steps to perform both tasks:
- On the Home tab, click the class that contains the scores you want to view.
- On the Section Menu, click the Scores tab.
Important: You will only see the Scores tab if your PlusPortals administrator has enabled it.
The diagram and table below provide an overview of the Scores tab.

A | View exam grades, and semester or final averages for your class. |
B | Filter results in each column or change the order of items in a column by clicking the column heading. |
C | Print the exam grades and semester/final averages. |

F | View Gradebook assignments along with the date of each assignment, the possible points, and the class average. |
G | View the score for a student. Note: You can also view scores for withdrawn students. (See View Grades for Withdrawn Students.) |

View Recent Scores for a Student
You can view the 15 most recent scores posted for a student in your class.
Important: You will only see the student and recent scores options described in this topic if your PlusPortals administrator has enabled them.
- On the Home tab, click for the class the student is in, and then click Go to Students.
or
If you're on the Class Page, click the Students tab.
- Click the student you want to view.
Tip: Click to navigate between pages of students.
- Locate the Recent Scores panel.
Tip: You can filter items in a column by clicking , or change the order of items in a column by clicking the column heading.
View Grades and Class Averages for a Student
To view a student's grades and class averages, follow these steps:
Important: To see grades and averages in your portal, they must be generated in the Gradebook. See the TeacherPlus Gradebook.
- On the Home tab, click next to a class the student is in, and then click Go to Students.

If you're on the Class Page, click the Students tab.
Important: You only see student options if your PlusPortals administrator has enabled them.
- Click the student you want to view.
- Scroll down to the Progress panel.
Important: You will only see the Progress panel if your PlusPortals administrator has enabled it.

A | View the student's grades and averages for a different marking period. |
B | View details of the student's progress for a specific class. |
C | Click to filter on specific information or change the order of items displayed in a column by clicking the column heading. |
View Grades for Withdrawn Students
If permitted by your PlusPortals administrator, you can choose to include scores for withdrawn students in the Scores tab.
- On the User menu, click [your name] > Settings.
- Scroll down to Scores Tab and select the Include withdrawn students in scores tab check box.
Important: You will only see this option if your PlusPortals administrator has enabled it.
- Click OK to save your changes.
View Progress Reports for a Class
You can view progress reports for the students in your classes if your PlusPortals administrator has enabled this feature. You can view the progress report for each student in a selected class or you can view a combined progress report for a student who is in more than one of your classes.
Important: Before you can view a progress report, it must be generated in the Gradebook. See the TeacherPlus Gradebook.
- On the Home tab, click the class you want to view.
- On the Section Menu, click the Progress Reports tab.
Important: You will only see the Progress Reports tab if your PlusPortals administrator has enabled it.
- Do one of the following:
- For students in the selected class only: On the Progress Report panel, click to view a student's progress report for that class.
- For students in more than one of your classes: On the Combined Reports panel, click to view a student's combined progress report for all your classes.
Note: To delete a student's progress report, click .
