Download an ASCII File of Prospects Ready for Enrollment

If your school uses an SIS other than AdminPlus, you can create an ASCII file with your AdmissionsPlus data to import into your SIS.

Choose the Fields to Include in the File

  1. On the left navigation menu, click  Setup.
  2. Click Send to SIS.
    A Warning message appears for schools that use AdminPlus. Click Done.
  1. Click ASCII Export Specifications. The Export to ASCII file Specifications dialog box opens.
  2. Type a File Name.
  3. To include a header line in the file, select the Include Header Line check box.
  4. To include contact fields, click Select Contact Fields.
  5. Under Select Relationships, click a relationship.
  6. Under Select Fields, select the check boxes next to the fields you want to include. The selected fields appear under Select Fields for All Relationships.
  7. Click Save.
  8. On the Demographic Fields and Staff Demographic Fields tabs, do either of the following:

    Include a field in the file

    In the Available Fields list, click the field you want to add, and then click

    to move it to the Selected Fields list.

    Remove a field from being included in the file    

    In the Selected Fields list, click the field you want to remove, and then

    click to move it to Available Fields the list.


    Tip: You can change the order the fields appear in the file by clicking a field in the Selected Fields list and then clicking or  to move its position.
  9. Click Save.

Download the ASCII File

  1. On the left navigation menu, click Enrollment.
  2. In the drop-down list, select the view with the prospects you want to include in the file.
  3. Select the check boxes next to the prospects whose data you want to include in the file.
  4. Click Send to Excel (CSV).
  5. In the Ready to Send to ASCII File dialog box, click Yes. The file is downloaded to your computer.
  6. In the Information dialog box, click Done.
