Prospect Data Placeholders

To make emailing prospects and/or contacts simpler, you can add fields to the email that act as placeholders for AdmissionsPlus prospect data. When the email is sent, these fields are replaced with the recipient's information. For example, if you place the Preferred Name field in the greeting line, the email sent to Jane Doe will read "Dear Jane Doe," and the email sent to John Smith will read "Dear John Smith."

Fields are only replaced with prospect data for recipients who are automatically added to the email. Manually added recipients will see a blank space.

The fields are found in the panel to the right of the email body and are organized into four tabs: Demographics, Admissions, Contacts, and Other. The fields on the Other tab are explained in the table below.

To add fields to the email, you can drag and drop them into the email.

For the pronoun fields, recipients see the pronoun matching their gender in AdmissionsPlus. Recipients whose gender is set as 'Male' or 'M' see male pronouns, recipients whose gender is set as 'Female' or 'F' see female pronouns, and recipients whose gender is any other value or blank see gender-neutral pronouns.
